Anand (Jaclyn) Kohler, LMT
Anand (Jaclyn) is the Branch Campus Administrator of our Springfield Missouri home for A Gathering Place Massage Therapy School. Anand is a yogini and massage therapist who is committed to creating peace and love for herself and those around her.
She graduated from A Gathering Place in July of 2017, she has since completed education in the following courses:
Sound Healing Level 1 with Pati Pellerito of Center of Sound, John Barnes Myofascial Level 1 , SomaVeda Thai Level 1, Reiki Master.
Her yoga studies thus far include a 200 hour course at an ashram, over 500 hours with Ravi Singh of Ravaina Yoga and 500 hours with Dustin Turner, a student of Mr. Iyengar.
Her specializations include 75 hours of Radiant Child Yoga with Lana Reed, further studies with Ravi in Trauma Informed Yoga and a sprinkle of Yoga Therapy classes with Beth Spindler. She hopes for all yogis to shift into the vision of a space for community at the center where we focus on integration and embodiment of the practice.
Through many years of practice in multiple lineages of yoga, she has found that yoga has led to more than just poses on a mat. She believes we are here to be love and to share love. Previously owning a yoga studio and community space she created to connect within, she thrives in supporting others to do "the work" for themselves.
Becoming empowered through alternative healing modalities, she finds that we can all create the world we want to live in. A key part to that is the need for community. Whether in her studies at A Gathering Place Massage Therapy School or through her many years of Yoga studies, she has been blessed with experiencing community as the web of love needed for growth and healing.
Her mission is to continue to Trust herself and Surrender to the process as we are here to be Conduits of Light. May her light spark yours if you have forgotten who you are.
