225 Hours of Hands-On Clinical Experience

Our massage therapy students accumulate 225 hours of hands-on work serving the public outside of their Introduction to Massage and Advanced Massage coursework.

This extensive clinical exposure helps students graduate feeling confident, capable, and career-ready.

For transfer students, this real-world experience can be especially valuable. It gives students the opportunity to continue developing their skills in a supportive environment while preparing for the expectations of professional massage therapy practice.

50 Hours of Allied Modalities Training

Our massage therapy students also explore advanced techniques and specialized modalities that expand their professional toolkit.

This training helps future massage therapists understand which techniques may be most effective in different situations while exposing them to specialties they may wish to pursue after graduation.

75-Hour Specialization Segment

Embedded within the clinical portion of our program is a 75-hour specialization experience. This allows our massage therapy students to identify an area of interest, conduct self-directed study, and apply their learning directly in clinic with real clients.

Preparing Students for Success on the MBLEx

For massage therapy students who have already completed Anatomy and Physiology coursework, we require completion of our Bones and Muscles Examination to ensure foundational knowledge is strong enough to support success on the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx).

This assessment helps us identify strengths and any areas that may need reinforcement before graduation.

We are proud to maintain a 99% first-time MBLEx pass rate at our Springfield campus.
